The Andrews Business & Technology Center is a highly advanced training center with the intent on meeting the growing needs of both the local workforce and providing post-secondary educational opportunities. A significant partnership between Odessa College, UT-Permian Basin and the City of Andrews, the Center offers the latest in distance learning technologies." It was a significant partnership with Odessa College, UTPB and College of the Southwest, the City of Andrews and Andrews County. It offers State of the Art Technology for distance learning. In addition to upper and lower division classes, vocational training opportunities are provided. The Center is well equipped with a Science Lab, Nursing Program Facility, Multi Computer Labs with Interactive Capabilities and a Video Conferencing Board Room.
The Odessa College Nursing program is housed at the Andrews Business & Technology Center. Graduates who successfully complete the program are eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion from Odessa College and take the NCLEX (licensure Examination) endorsed by the Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas. The 12-month program begins in August each year. With the educational opportunities available in Andrews, the quality of life and economic growth results in an increased educational excellence.
